Matilda: I became... bulimic...
Derek: ... you can read minds?!
Hansel: *eyes widen with amazement*

I am aghast. I was chatting with a friend online and tried to make a Zoolander reference. She just didn't get it. I thought for sure that she had seen this movie and all over it. When I explained the quote and she responded with disgust... *tsk tsk*. She tried to tell me that Zoolander was the *worst* dumb movie she had ever seen, "Cause it was too forced....just dumb!"

Shameful...

Hehehe... I love that movie. I think it's hilarious how forced it is, that's the whole point I think. Anyways, just had to rant.

Obey my dog! You know what Sloanie... (and I hope whoever it is reads this comment) I think you should seriously debate not ever speaking to someone who knocks on an Owen Wilson film. His brilliant collaborations with Wes Anderson have made my world a better place and I am patiently awaiting the next...

the thought did cross my mind-- "we can't be friends anymore", hehe. Truly, this person CLAIMS to like Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson in their other movies. What a fool, hehe.

I'm with ya Sloanie. That movie is awesome! My personal favorite line is:

"They were like brothers to me, not like real brothers, but brothers in the way black people say it."

Come on! How can you not think that's funny?

my wife does the best impression of the roommate who goes, "earth to brent... i don't think you did because you said (can't remember this part), like you DINENT (sic--didn't) know it was a joke." i think one of the best parts in that movies that gets overlooked (much like dennis miller's oscar worthy portrayal of a radio talk-show host in joe dirt) is david duchovny. especially in the outtakes.

Haha, it's true-- that part is great. One time the power was out and I tried to flip on the light in the bathroom (I think my sister tried to flip on something in the laundry room too) so we joked by saying "Earth to Kato, the power's out." "Earth to Mikie, I know!" "Uh, Earth to Kato, I'm not so sure you did, because you tried to turn on the washer like you DIDN'T know the power was out! haha! hahaha!" Hehe...

And yeah, I hardly ever watch Zoolander without watching the outtakes. "if you're going to the special features section you must be one of the hundreds of people who enjoyed zoolander, and wanted more." I love Duchovney's shriveled arm.
