Relief

Ahh… someone is visiting the director in her cubicle right now, I can see his reflection (or silhouette at least) in my monitor, he’s making quite the gestures with his arms, very animated. I, however, have my Sony MDR-EX70’s plugged into my ears with Nikia A.’s cover of “Making Love Out of Nothing at All” cranked up (among other dance/trance tunes that help me stay awake and be productive at work). I can't hear a word they’re saying, not a sound. And my head is clear, no headache or irritation from them. They could be belting out some loud laughter and I wouldn’t know it unless this dude collapsed on the floor with laughter. Ah, I love headphones and music. Sometimes it’s not so much that I want to be in my own world but that I really hate some other people’s worlds stepping out of their bounds ;) I hate it when people are inconsiderate like that.
