Camp food

| | Comments (7)

This image alone should explain my enthusasm for the camping trip we took this last weekend (the 16th). Samgyup sal (side of pork), beef, even prawns (Jesse's doing-- nice call), along with the usual sides. The kimchi was excellent (I've found the kimchi sides that L&L's sells is pretty consistently delicious), and we even had some spicy Korean sauce to marinate some of the meat / prawns in... my mouth is now watering. A little more at Crazy Pills...

Yes, yes it does. You need to get in on the next Korean bbq fest, Jeffe.

heck ya i do. it was especially painful yesterday because i just started this "detoxing" thing. it's a ton easier today, but sunday and monday were killers - so many food cravings. and then you had to go and do a food post.

Hehehe... detox eh? Do tell...

Detox sucks. I've done it before, it's hellish. I think next time I detox it won't be cold turkey (going cold turkey isn't as delicious as it sounds....)

yeah, one of christin's crazy ideas. 2 days of raw fruits and veggies, then 3 days of just pure veggie or fruit juice, then another 2 days of raw stuff. the first day was awful, but now i've kinda gotten into the groove of things. it also helps that there are a few of us doing it together.

Dude... so she just made that up? Ok the fruit needs to go, too much sugar =P

Yeah I've only done detox by doing south beach phase one... only specific vegies and lean meats. no breads, no fruits, no sugars or starches of any kind... ick.

yeah, i guess there are a million different ideas about how to detox. this plan's got some wacky rules, but it's odd, i do feel pretty good. i'm really lookin forward to a nice big carl's burger at the end, tho. mmmmmm.....
