.... not.

So since high school I've had this thing for fake ribs. I believe it started with some Quake comics in which the protagonists were revitalized by eating riblets. It became kind of a Quake joke to eat riblets-- those fake tv dinner bbq pork ribs. I remember eating them on a couple of occasions when Jeff and I would play Quake during high school, hehe... good times.

Anyways, because of my fondness for that not-so-healthy stuff, whenever I see the McRib sandwich I get excited. But I tell you, they brought it back again this fall and I've eaten 'em twice within the last week-- and they're just not good. Seriously. The first one had hardly any sauce. So I figured thats what was wrong. I just ate a second one and it had more sauce but it still tasted like nothing. Almost flavorless except for the pickles.

So it turns out they brought them back a year ago with a "Farewell Tour" ad campaign, saying the McRibs were done for. Well a year later they're doing the "Farewell Tour II" with a little slogan on the container that says "save the McRib!" which made me laugh quite heartily so I had to post about it. The McRibs can go the way of all the earth for all I'm concerned. They've been nothing but a let down.

But the McNuggets... those will keep me coming back. So wrong.
