During my freshman year of college it was a rare exception to get to sleep before 3am. In fact, I remember going to bed early one night-- a little after 1am-- because I was sick, hehe. I was at BYU, living in the dorms (Deseret Towers, which are pretty
much gone now, aren't they? Weird.), and caffeine was not to be found
on campus-- so I took the opportunities I had to stock up on
contraband-- I was addicted to Mountain Dew and I loved bringing a big huge 24 packs of it into
the dorms.

I never tire of sunsets. Though there certainly seems to be a pallet of colors God is working with, no two are ever identical. I loved how brilliant the colors were this evening:
I'm in a bit of a punchy mood at the moment. Have you ever watched Wipeout on ABC? Oh my, that show makes me laugh. I don't often post youtube clips, but this is one I could watch over and over. If you're bored and have some time, check it out. In other news, I think one of my new favorite phrases now is "It warms the cockles of my heart." Now I just have to remember and look for opportunities to use it...

Mike: *I wonder if vegetarians would eat escargots... I mean, is there such a thing as cruelty to snails that actually leads to them being on someone's plate? I'm pretty sure they're too salty when I get done with them*
Mike: *also, I wonder if Josh took pictures. I've never actually seen escargots. I know I would have taken pictures, hehe.*

Ah, would have been a good time to try HDR photography if I'd had a tripod and more than just a point and shoot on me. You see absolutely none of the dark blue that was in the sky when I took this photo-- it complemented the temple perfectly.

This image has nothing to do with the text in this post... but any excuse to post a daily photo is welcome :) I just like the bright pretty colors. This was a flower in one of the gardens outside the Jordan River Temple that I noticed this past Saturday.So I've finally been tinkering with my blog as of late, adding this and that. I'm just a step away from getting the banner replaced so that it's really personalized (yeah. Just have to create that banner...)
