Go Team Sarcasm!

So, as everyone knows, we finally accomplished our half-marathon in Moab a week ago. Jeff already posted these pictures, but I figured it warranted a Crazy Pills mention, too.

My favorite is how smiley Mel is crossing the finish line. She wasn't thinking, "I did it!" She was thinking, "Thank the dear sweet this torture is finally over!"

Yes, we dubbed ourselves Team Sarcasm (we started with Team Insult, but changed it to a word beginning with S, for reasons I don't want to get into).

Thanks for being my running buddy, Mel. I don't think I would've attempted this if you weren't training with me. :)

Conan went to the Baltic...

So I was watching part of an episode of Conan O'Brien the other night. I don't typically watch that show, but Jesse turned it on for a minute and stopped there, because Conan was in Finland, and he was with a group of men who were observing a tradition of sitting in a really hot sauna, then jumping in the Baltic sea...in the dead of winter. (And naked, I might add.) Bizarre. The funniest thing was that Conan was actually in Finland doing TV appearances and stuff because he looks exactly like the president of Finland. The president is a woman. Anyhow, it was fun to see some of the landscape around the Baltic, and it obviously got me thinking about Shawny bubs. He arrived in Estonia last week, and no one has posted his arrival pictures, so here ya go.
